Tom Schwartz On Indefinite Break From Sandoval

Tom Schwartz is apparently taking an indefinite break from his Vanderpump Rules co-star and best friend, Tom Sandoval. It had recently come out that Schwartz had stopped speaking to his longtime confidante. There was a lot of betrayal upon learning Sandoval had been having a months-long affair with cast mate, Raquel Leviss. Now, it seems like the friendship could be potentially over. Tom Schwartz On Indefinite Break From Sandoval

Last August, Tom Sandoval first slept with Raquel Leviss. He was still in a committed relationship with his girlfriend of almost a decade, Ariana Madix. At the same time, Leviss kept saying that she had a crush on Schwartz and wanted to kiss him. Eventually, the two of them made out in Mexico at Scheana Shay’s wedding. It soon came to Schwartz’s attention that she and Tom Sandoval had also hooked up. However, he was led to believe it was a one-time thing. By January 2023, Sandoval told Schwartz that he was in love with Raquel.

Though Tom Schwartz claimed he tried to encourage Sandoval to tell Ariana, it did not come out until March when she discovered on her own. It was a bad look for Schwartz as he looked like a pawn in the game all along. He was by Sandoval’s side throughout everything and even told fans to give him a hug if they saw him in public. Finally, he realized he had to step away from the situation and reevaluate what he was doing. According to Life & Style, a source is sharing that this is one relationship that also ended after Season 10.

Per the source: “The Tom’s are officially taking a break from each other. Schwartz decided to distance himself from his buddy because not only was he put in the middle of his and Raquel’s cheating mess, but the lack of remorse on Sandoval’s part was insane. Schwartz saw his friend dig himself deeper and deeper, there wasn’t a lot of accountability on his part, which was disappointing.” Though their friendship may be on hold, they will still work as business partners.

Betrayal & Deceit

Many cast members really felt duped by Raquel Leviss, especially Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix. They were ride or die for her and now, they do not even know who she is anymore. Yet, Tom Schwartz also has some of those same feelings toward Tom Sandoval and Raquel, as well. The source had this to say: “He feels like he was played by both Tom and Raquel.” However, this may not be the end of the friendship as a whole. They just need time apart to figure out how to come back together again.
