On Thursday, May 11, Lawson posted on social media teasing a big announcement. He said it would come out on Friday, May 12 with People Magazine. Now, over two weeks later, there’s no news. It’s unclear what happened with the announcement, but fans are getting annoyed and wondering if the couple might have been teasing or click-baiting. Lawson later updated his post to say the news would come out “soon.” In response to an angry fan, he said the delay is out of their control.
Amid their failed announcement, Tiffany and Lawson Bates disappeared from social media. They haven’t been uploading their regular YouTube videos or given fans a look behind the scenes via Instagram.

Now, amid their social media silence, Lawson and Tiffany have appeared in a family member’s YouTube video. This is the first time fans have seen them in the past couple of weeks. Over the weekend, Trace and Lydia Bates shared a new video titled: “Who Knows Their Wife Best?” This challenge featured Trace, Lydia, Lawson, Tiffany, Esther, and Nathan Bates. Plus, Nathan and Esther’s baby girl, Kenna, made an appearance.
In the video, all seems well with Lawson and Tiffany. All six of the Bates kids and in-laws participated in the fun challenge and kept fans entertained. In the comments section of the YouTube video, fans are talking about how fun and hilarious this little game was.
As of now, Tiffany and Lawson haven’t posted on their YouTube channel or Instagram accounts. Hopefully, they will return to social media soon or make their big announcement, because fans are still searching for answers. Despite Lawson and Tiffany’s social media silence, they seem to be alive and well in Trace and Lydia’s new video.
