Over the weekend, Hallmark shared their Christmas In July announcement on Twitter. The video tells viewers to “soak up Christmas movies every day.” Although the network has not shared the schedule or any details yet, the video does promise to show Christmas movies throughout July.
The video announcement shows scenes from some of the top Christmas movies from 2022 that include Haul Out The Holly, Three Wise Men And A Baby, and A Holiday Spectacular.
Hallmark Is Premiering Winter Castle Royal Romance
The new Hallmark video for Christmas In July includes scenes from a new movie. They appear to be a brief sneak peek into a new Christmas movie called Winter Castle Royal Romance. We see a couple merrily riding down an ice slide. This highly-anticipated movie is the third in the ice hotel trilogy that includes Winter Castle, and Baby, It’s Cold Inside.
According to Sleepy Kitty Paw’s information, this movie stars Stephen Huszar, who was recently in The Jane Mysteries, and Katie Cassidy (Arrow) in her first Hallmark movie.
The synopsis reads, “A prince ends up at the Hotel de Glace for Christmas.” Directed by Marita Grabiak, this was filmed in Ottawa, and Valcartier, Quebec.
That means that there will be a royal Christmas movie premiering this summer. Who doesn’t love a royal romance?

Hallmark Will Air More Christmas In July Details Soon
In the coming days and weeks, Hallmark should be airing more details about their Christmas In July schedule. Although the network did a soft announcement about their only summer premiere, there could certainly be more premieres.
Last year, Hallmark had three Christmas movie premieres during Christmas In July. But, the current writer’s strike could mean that they will only air one premiere during July. How many Christmas movies will air during the 2023 Countdown To Christmas?
This year, the WGA strike has a lot of Christmas movie fans concerned. While it is known that Hallmark has a stack of ready scripts, the impending actor’s strike at the end of June could mean that there may be fewer than 40 holiday movies this year.
Currently, Hallmark is scrambling to get as many movies filmed as possible. Although they have not announced many of their 2023 holiday movie titles, we can assume that they are currently keeping a lot of actors working now.
For example, several actors, like Brennan Elliott have bowed out of Christmas Con in Kansas City because they are filming a new Hallmark movie. He revealed on Instagram that he cannot talk about this movie, we can assume that there is a good chance that this will be a 2023 Hallmark Christmas movie.
