What’s The Status Of Ariana Madix’s Sandwich Shop?

What is the current status of Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop, Something About Her? In the Season 10 penultimate episode of Vanderpump Rules, she and Katie Maloney did a preview. They showed off a few of their custom sandwiches and had their friends and co-stars try them. Everyone seemed to be really excited for what was to come. That was back in September so nearly nine months later, where is the shop at? Read on for more details.

What’s The Status Of Ariana Madix’s Sandwich Shop?

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney decided to go into business together in Season 9. This was something that Katie had wanted to do with her now ex-husband Tom Schwartz. However, he was too busy with Schwartz and Sandy’s with Tom Sandoval. So, she brought it up to Ariana and they both decided that it was a fun idea to do. Eventually, they found a spot through Lisa Vanderpump and it fit in their price bracket so they found someone to help with sandwiches. By September 2022, they were ready to do a soft launch so everyone could sample what they had going on.

Now that ‘Scandoval’ has broken, fans are team Ariana and are desperate to get to this sandwich shop. They launched merch right after it was revealed that Tom Sandoval had cheated on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss. Pump Rules viewers were ready to help in any way possible but when can they have more than just merch? Ariana spoke to People about when Something About Her will be opening. Per Ariana, she and her partner, Katie are dealing with the design aspect as well as some decisions that need to be made.

Yet, she knows that there is a public curiosity. “There’s been a few people who have walked by and done some TikToks, or they see paint going on the walls and we’re putting in banquettes.” As for what patrons can expect from the sandwiches, Madix had some insight there, as well: “I think in the same sense that the name of the sandwich shop is Something About Her, I think that the sandwiches may or may not be named after really admirable and wonderful women both in the public eye and our personal lives.”

When Will It Open?

As for when fans can dine on these delights, Ariana Madix revealed that it is coming soon. She shared that it will most likely open this summer so that is exciting. Does this mean that fans will be able to see it in Season 11? Hopefully. As long as filming is no longer halted, this could make for a fun and exciting restaurant rivalry with the boys versus the girls.
