Tammy Slaton Enjoys Fire As Fans Pop Off Over Furbaby Danger
Tammy Slaton feels good enough to spend an evening by the fire with her family members — although many fans felt concerned they were putting a pet in danger.
During a cozy evening with loved ones, the group apparently allowed a dog too close to a fire and fans were not at all pleased. In fact, many accused the TLC personality of neglecting the pet in question.
Check out the photo Tammy posted online that sparked the debate.
Did Tammy Slaton & family neglect their pet?
Summer is just around the corner! Tammy Slaton and the rest of her family are ready to kick back and enjoy the nicer weather. And that means cookouts, bonfires, and so much more.
However, fans felt obligated to issue a stern warning to the TLC star. If they’re going to have pets at family events, they need to keep a closer eye on them.
“Relaxing by the fire with family,” the 1000-Lb Sisters star captioned her Instagram upload. Many fans were excited to see that Tammy was getting out and about.
However, many followers felt anxious about the dog’s proximity to the flames as it sniffs and pokes around the firepit. Several readily pointed out that the family were being incredibly irresponsible pet owners.
“Watch the dog doesn’t get burned!! He’s close to the fire!!” one Instagram user cautioned Tammy.
“Why would you let the dog so dangerously close to the fire????? Irresponsible beyond 😮” another wrote.
In all likelihood, the dog was probably fine. However, fans are still a little uneasy and feel justified about their concerns.
The family isn’t having the best track record with dogs right now
Of course, fans weren’t at all happy with the potential danger posed to the dog in the photo. And now, many followers can’t help but notice that the family isn’t having the best record with their pets.
1000-Lb Sisters fans might remember that Michael and Amy Halterman gave their sons a new puppy for Christmas. Their older dog Little Bit passed away in the spring of 2022 due to old age.
But after just a few months in the home, the Haltermans opted to give the little dog away.
Michael Halterman made a public Facebook post advertising that the dog Daisy Mae was free to a good home. In the comments section, he told followers that neither he nor Amy wanted the dog any longer.
Shortly after, he made a follow-up post simply stating that Daisy Mae was in a good home now. He did not provide any subsequent information.
Are you surprised to see the family treat their pets this way? Leave your thoughts in the comments and check back for more 1000-Lb Sisters news and updates.
