Drama Brewing Among ‘RHONY Legacy’ Cast Already?

Is there drama already brewing among the RHONY Legacy cast already? The cast was just announced Monday at an NBC event and the exact idea of the show was shared. However, it seems that there is an issue between the cast, and filming seemingly has not even begun. So, who is bickering and what is the problem? Read on for more details.

Drama Brewing Among RHONY Legacy Cast Already?

Just the other day, it was announced that RHONY Legacy had turned into the fifth installment of RHUGT. The biggest issue with casting the show was the price of it. The OG cast wanted a lot of money to appear and that led to the show being at a standstill. Yet, the new RHONY was all set to go and will premiere in July. Still, fans wanted the classic New York housewives back no matter what since Season 13 ended with no closure or reunion. As Bethenny Frankel said, the RHUGT route is the economical route as it is one week so costs will be down dramatically.

The cast will consist of Ramona Singer, Luann De Lesseps, Kristen Taekman, Kelly Bensimon, Dorina Medley, and Sonja Morgan. In the past, Kristen and Ramona have had their own struggles. Ramona liked to talk down to Kristen but the latter never backed down. Now, it seems that they are facing issues prior to heading on their trip. During Page Six’s podcast Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Ramona’s daughter, Avery had this to say about Kristen: “I just genuinely forgot who she was.” Ramona added: “Well, everyone did.” She also apparently wondered why they cast Kristen over Aviva Drescher.

Well, Kristen Taekman learned about this and took to her Instagram to fire back. She wrote: “Huh, you didn’t seem to forget me when you invited me to @averysinger launch party back in February!?” The RHONY alum further cited a party that she hosted in 2019 which Ramona attended. So, it seems that Ramona Singer knows who Kristen Taekman is quite well when it suits her. As for how they will handle being away for a week with each other, that is yet to be seen.

On An Island

The RHONY ladies will be heading to St. Barts for their trip which was a hot spot on Season 5. Luann had allegedly hooked up with the Johnny Depp lookalike, Tomas while they vacationed there. However, she also had a longtime boyfriend back at home. At the same time, Sonja Morgan took a spin with Tomas, as well. So, it holds a lot of drama but a lot of fun. Hopefully, Ramona can “remember” who Kristen is before they set sail or this will be a bumpy ride.
