On Wednesday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts suffered a live on-air blunder. She begged producers to re-shoot the segment. Robin mentioned a report on car thefts and the ways that police are preventing them from happening. However, she was struggling through the segment.

“Cities are cracking down on car thefts,” Robin Roberts said. “What police are handing out for free… They could have been handing. Could have held. Heading, heading, heading elsewhere. And the tiny tweaks to your resume. I’m glad I don’t have to send out a resume right now.”

The Good Morning America co-anchor laughed to herself. Sam Champion got a good laugh out of his friend’s snafu. The camera panned over to his reaction. Robin also mentioned that actor Chris Pratt will appear on the show to discuss his new movie. She gave up and asked the producers for a “re-do.”

The screen then showed a side-by-side reaction between Robin Roberts and Sam. He joked that he was “so with her today.” Sam felt that Robin was “better than most people’s 100 percent” even if she was her “60 percent.”

“Oh well, I appreciate that you put me at 60 because…” Robin Roberts said.

Suddenly, she shook her head and gave up. She couldn’t regain her words. Robin joked that Sam was her “trial balloon,” meaning that she would be good for the rest of the show. Normally, Robin remains poised and focused on the morning show. It was shocking for the fans to see the veteran GMA co-anchor stumbling over her words.

Goes missing from GMA

Last week, Robin Roberts went missing from GMA. She returned on Thursday morning with a special message. Robin revealed that she had to film a segment in Mississippi. Fans were happy to find that she was back to filming her daily motivational message and prayer. In the video, Robin talked about overcoming obstacles. She admitted that it was “one of those mornings.”

“We all face difficulties that don’t look like they’re ever going to change,” Robin Roberts said. “It may seem that their size and it’s not improving, so it’s easy to live discouraged and accept that it’s going to take years to get well, years to get out of debt, or years to meet the right person.”
