Robin Roberts pushed back on Michael Strahan. She defended herself against his latest joke. In the live broadcast of Good Morning America, he cracked a joke about her which she said is “not true.” She didn’t take that comment sitting down, sort of speak. On Thursday’s episode of GMA, Michael Strahan tried Starbucks’ new olive oil-infused coffee. The popular coffee label is trying out a new recipe, which has people mixed. The range started in Italy. Michael made a joke about Robin Roberts.

He exposed her during the live show. Her GMA co-anchor admitted that she wanted to keep the coffee for herself. Michael was hesitant about trying the next concoction. So, he delayed time by cracking a joke about Robin Roberts’ trying the new coffee.

“I was going to taste it but Robin told me not to because she wanted it,” Michael said.

Robin Roberts sat at the big desk next to him. She had a smile on her face as she politely pushed back. “That is so not true. Nice try, Michael,” Robin responded. She laughed after Michael made the corny little joke. The former NFL player finally tried the drink.

He took a moment to collect his thoughts as he figured out the flavor. The former pro athlete said he could still taste the olive oil. However, he didn’t like the look of the coffee. It was enough to turn him away from it.

Michael added: “A few sips was all I needed.”

That’s when he decided he had enough of the drink. Good Morning America took to its official Instagram page to share a clip from the segment. Michael’s expression said it all. He was not a fan of the new coffee flavor.

GMA fans are not interested in new coffee flavor

Some of the GMA fans took to the comment section to share their own thoughts. They could tell that neither Robin Roberts nor Michael Strahan wasn’t interested in the coffee. As a result, fans didn’t want to try it either. It was enough for them to decide against it.

Others wanted to know why olive oil was even considered. It’s brought up a heavy debate among coffee lovers. Some would be open to trying out this new recipe, while others are turned off by it. This comes after the highly controversial butter coffee.
