Kyle was so love-struck that he forgot his responsibilities during the charter. He would spend all night talking to Frank. In his confessional, Kyle admitted that he just came out to his family. He had very few romances with the same sex. This is why he felt such strong feelings for Frank.

Captain Sandy Yawn doesn’t allow romances with charter guests. Kyle had to keep it on the down low in case she found out. However, he continued to flirt with Frank as he neglected most of his duties. Somehow, that already went unnoticed on the boat.

Frank invited the entire Below Deck Med crew to hang out with them after they embarked on the boat. Kyle and Frank could finally get to know each other outside of the yacht. They promised that they would stay in touch. At the end of the night, Kyle ran out of the van to kiss Frank and confess that he’s fallen in love with him. Their whirlwind romance didn’t last long. Yet, they still remained good friends. After filming Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7, Kyle shared a tribute to his former fling on Instagram. He credited Frank for helping him find his current boyfriend. Kyle met Zachary Riley, who he called the “love of his life.”

Some Below Deck Med fans had to wonder if he was being overdramatic. Kyle and Frank continued to be friends, even after their relationship fizzled out. He became Instagram official with Zachary after a year of dating. Kyle moved to New York City, where he currently lives with his boyfriend, and where Frank lives.

Some would call this an uncanny situation. Kyle and Zachary celebrated their engagement earlier this year. Fans wonder if Kyle will return for Season 8 of Below Deck Mediterranean.
