Did Eric Mabius Reveal Hallmark’s ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ Returning?
Recently, Hallmark has been making some tough decisions on some fan-favorite movie series. However, Signed, Sealed, Delivered star recently revealed that the network is going to make another movie.
POstables have been waiting about two years for this news. What do we know?
Hallmark Is Planning On Making New Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Just recently, Eric Mabius was interviewed on Australia’s Today Extra about Cruel Intentions. Then, the conversation moved to the long-running Signed, Sealed, Delivered. The interviewer asked the Ugly Betty star if there will be another Hallmark Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie.
Eric was anything but coy. He confirmed that they are going to make another movie!
There is, and what a wonderful project. Martha Williamson, the one who created ‘Touched by an Angel,’ has had a great run… It’s just brilliant because it’s a mixture of romance and comedy and heartfelt intent without being syrupy.
However, Mabius did not give any other details including when they plan on filming or when Hallmark will premiere this new movie. It may be too early to share those details. Nonetheless, this is fantastic news for POstables.
Hallmark Said They Were ‘Not Done’ With SSD
The news about another Signed, Sealed, Delivered is not the biggest surprise. Just last year, at the Television Critics Tour 2022, Hallmark CEO Wonya Lucas and Lisa Hamilton Daly, Hallmark Media’s VP of Programming revealed that they still had more stories to tell.
We are always interested in thinking about what we can do with our most popular IP. I can’t announce anything specific about that. I don’t think we’re finished with that.
Also, in 2022, Lucas shared some of the items that POstables sent her. This includes photos of gatherings and other ways in which this fan base celebrates their favorite Hallmark series.

Hallmark Just Canceled Mystery 101
Not everyone has had a good week. Sleuthers who love Mystery 101 have been mourning for the past week. That is because their favorite series starring Jill Wagner, Kristoffer Polaha, and Robin Thomas was just canceled. The network has not made a formal statement as to why they have chosen not to resolve a cliffhanger that has frustrated fans for almost two years.
However, it seems that the folks there have recently been busy determining which of their long-running series they will continue. Like Mystery 101, the last Signed, Sealed, Delivered premiered in 2021. In addition, Hallmark is airing another long-running mystery, Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery in May. This is the first since 2021. Although we don’t know the future of the series formerly known as Murder She Baked, it seems that it also has escaped the chopping block like Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
POstables, what do you hope happens in the upcoming Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie?
Update: Now Eric is backtracking and saying he didn’t confirm a new movie. Read more here.
