‘GMA’: Rob Marciano Knee-Deep In Flood After Extended Hiatus

Rob Marciano returns to GMA

On Friday’s broadcast of GMA, Rob Marciano made his return to the morning show. The meteorologist reported live from Minnesota. He stood knee-deep in the floods that took place. During the segment, he wore a cobalt blue jacket that’s reserved for the ABC News crew. He wore shiny rain boots, jeans, and a black baseball cap.

Rob Marciano talked about the rains that hamper the Midwest. He was in St. Paul, Minnesota during Friday’s live broadcast. Rob stood in the middle of a flooded street where the waters reached his knees. He talked about what happened to the area, which looked like a ghost town.

Unfortunately, there are still flood watches for the area. It was difficult for him to navigate through the floods. Rob Marciano has been reporting on-location in dangerous areas such as this one. He will continue his weather segments live from various parts of the country, most of which are storm-ridden.

Last month, it was reported that ABC Studios banned him from the workplace. This came after a string of alleged events in which he “made colleagues feel uncomfortable.” The “alarming events” caused concern. Rob Marciano was put on a hiatus during the time, but he returned to report on the weather.

He is not part of the GMA family. His co-anchors and colleagues will only interact with him from a distance. That means fans won’t get to see Rob Marciano take part in fun segments during holidays like Halloween and Christmas. He will continue to report on the weather in outside locations for the next year or so.

“He was found to have done something… that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” one insider told Page Six.

Fans are hoping they can change ABC’s mind. Many of them have taken to social media to demand that he come back to ABC Studios. They like it more when Rob Marciano is part of the morning crew.
