GMA meteorologist shares update
Rob Marciano made an appearance on the morning show. He took an extended absence from the show once again. The GMA meteorologist shared an update on the storms in the Midwest.
Inside the Good Morning America studios was Micahel Strahan, who introduced viewers to Rob Marciano. He is still outside the ABC Studios. The weatherman wore a cobalt blue ABC News jacket with jeans. Rob stood outside an airport that was quiet due to the dangerous storms.
“Towns up and down the Mississippi for weeks now have been preparing for this flood,” Rob Marciano explained. “Here at the St. John downtown airport, they have shut down this runway… They’ve erected this temporary flood wall to try to hold back this river and so far it’s doing just that.”
The 54-year-old also mentioned the nearby towns, which are dealing with devastation as well. Pictures flashed on the screen of the flooded areas. GMA shared a video of Rob Marciano’s report on its official Twitter account. Fans took to the comment section to react.
“So sad…such devastation from the weather recently! You please take care and be safe!” one fan wrote.
“Thanks Rob for the update. You are awesome,” another one added.
Rob Marciano banned from ABC Studios
This appearance comes amid his ongoing ban from ABC Studios. Last month, news broke that he “made colleagues feel uncomfortable” on more than one occasion. There was a series of “alarming events” that took place. Page Six was the first to report about Rob Marciano’s ban.
“He was found to have done something… that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” one of the insiders told the outlet.
The report revealed that Rob Marciano went on an extended hiatus after the incident occurred. He has since returned to the show just a month later. However, Rob is not allowed back into ABC Studios. The report didn’t reveal exactly what he did to his former colleagues.

Fans have begged GMA on social media to bring him back. They accused the talk show of “holding a grudge.” In the meantime, Rob Marciano will have to be on his own during his on-assignment trips. He typically works with a small crew of people.

Bring Rob back….Great at his job….and obviiously a great guy….
Caught up in asituation that is propmably ego gone amuk
Bring Rob back to the ABC studio! No one is perfect. I would venture a guess there are many other employees of ABC who have made mistakes inside their precious studios!
He does his job as well as the other meteorologists.
