Mykelti & Tony Padron Reveal If There Will Be A New Wife

Tony and Mykelti Padron are opening up about whether or not there will be a new wife in the Sister Wives family. Right now, Mykelti’s father, Kody Brown is basically a monogamist. After three of his wives left his plural family, he was just left with his fourth wife, Robyn. That does not go along with his brand of being a polygamist and, of course, the show, Sister Wives. So, will Kody and Robyn take on a new wife? Read on for more details.

Mykelti & Tony Padron Reveal If There Will Be A New Wife

With a Patreon, Tony and Mykelti Padron rarely hold anything back about their family. Mykelti has even opened up about the abuse she and her siblings endured at the hands of Meri Brown, her father’s first wife. She said it was largely verbal but, just saying anything, could have jeopardized her career with LuLaRoe. Meri is a senior salesperson in the company and they pride themselves on respect. Despite the fact that Meri was abusive, speaking out on it could have called for Mykelti’s termination. However, it seems that she is still working for the company.

Additionally, Mykelti Padron has spoken out on things with her father and Robyn. This is interesting because when she and her husband, Tony came to help her mother, Christine move, they visited Robyn and Kody. They let the couple know that they would always be close to them regardless of what happened. Robyn was even there when Mykelti’s twins were born. Now, Mykelti and Tony are opening up about whether or not Kody and Robyn will take on a new wife. According to Starcasm, the Padrons discussed a new wife on their Patreon.

Tony’s reaction was laughter and then this: “I doubt it, heavily. — like, super doubt it — like I’m pretty 100% sure that’s a no.” As for what Mykelti Padron had to say about her dad adding another wife, she shared some context: “Part of that is because my dad and my moms aren’t really part of the religion anymore either, the religion we grew up with, the Apostolic United Brethren where the polygamy base of faith and Mormonism kind of came from. They’re not active in the church and they’re not active in that religion or their beliefs in that church.”

No Extra Wife?

There had been rumors flying that Kody and Robyn Brown had been courting a new woman and it would be filmed for Season 18. However, that fell apart. Then, it looked like Kody might be trying to work it out with Janelle and Meri but the latter has since left Flagstaff for Utah. Christine Brown has moved on and is now engaged so what’s left? If what Tony and Mykelti Padron are saying is true, there is no more Sister Wives. Will fans want to see Kody and Robyn living as a single couple? Probably not so it might be time to get back to the drawing board.
