Why Isn’t A New Episode Of Darcey And Stacey On Tonight?

Darcey and Stacey made it to Season 4 which is great for a spinoff. In this latest season, the twins dedicated their time to Miami, trying to network their long-standing brand. At the same time, Stacey Silva was working on her lavish wedding while Darcey Silva found a matchmaker to assist in her dating ventures. Unfortunately, the two clashed a lot. Stacey did not feel that her sister was being supportive while Darcey felt blindsided by the choice of best man. Stacey’s husband, Florian Sukaj had chosen Darcey’s ex, Georgi Rusev.

He felt that Georgi was his closest friend in America and, since his family could not be in attendance, it made sense to have someone he loved by his side. Darcey and Stacey did not understand what he was thinking but the latter chose to accept his decision. He still had feelings for Darcey which came out during the season but she kept trying to date. Sadly, she failed and fired her matchmaker. Darcey Silva also sent her daughter off to college and the twins’ father, Mike had a stroke.

They moved the wedding to Connecticut from Miami and it came out that Darcey and Georgi had hooked up a short time back. Luckily, the wedding was a success and their brand is booming. Yet, what happened after the wedding? Season 3 saw the first tell-all but this time, where is that? It appears that there will be nothing more from the twins for Season 4 hence why there are no new episodes. So, will there be a Season 5? That is unclear but we do know what will be taking its place and it’s another guilty pleasure.

Taking Its Place…

In place of Darcey and Stacey is Season 2 of You, Me & My Ex. This takes couples where one partner has a very close relationship with their ex. Returning are Josh, Danielle, Chantel, and Jennifer. Josh and Jennifer had been married but divorced and she ended up with Chantel. They used Josh’s sperm so they could have their daughter and now they are navigating parenting boundaries. Also coming back are Alex, Caroline, and his ex-boyfriend. Can everyone find a happy medium? It will be fun to see.
