‘Drake & Josh’: Drake Bell MISSING & In Danger, Police Confirm
Breaking Nickelodeon news as Drake & Josh star Drake Bell has been confirmed by police to be both missing and in danger.
The Daytona Beach Police Department took to social media this morning to announce that 36-year-old Drake Bell was both missing and in danger. Here’s what the Facebook post said:
Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986.
He should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9p.m.
He is considered missing and endangered.
The post went on to ask for anyone on information about where the missing actor might be to contact Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207. In the comments of the post, the Daytona Beach Police Department did confirm this was a legitimate post and Drake Bell was both missing and in danger. Multiple media outlets have reached out to Drake Bell’s manager for a comment on the situation. Unfortunately, the manager has yet to reply to any requests for a comment just yet. Drake Bell Missing: Who Is He?
Starring beside Josh Peck who played his on-screen brother, Drake Bell rose to fame thanks to the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. The series ran for four seasons between 2004 and 2007 for a total of 56 episodes. There was also a movie born from the series. Likewise, Drake Bell was also a cast member on The Amanda Show and he played Timmy Turning in the Live-Action Fairly OddParents trilogy.
Over the past few years, Drake Bell hasn’t exactly made headlines for very good things. In June 2021, he pled guilty to attempting to endanger children (felony charge) and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles (misdemeanor charge). Drake Bell was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and two years probation as a result.
For those who didn’t follow the story, the charges originated when Drake (at the age of 31) met with a 15-year-old after months of interacting on social media. The social media messages were reportedly “sexual in nature.”
Back in 2015, Drake Bell also ended up in handcuffs. This time he was arrested for a DUI. After pleading “no contest,” he was charged with a misdemeanor and spent four days behind bars.
To Drake & Josh fans’ dismay, Josh Peck and Drake Bell do not seem to have much of a relationship or brotherhood these days considering the dark path Drake went down.
At this time, fans remain hopeful Drake Bell will be found safe.
