‘Bachelorette’ Michelle Young Alum Nearly Dead: Drugged, Stabbed

While spending some time in Colombia recently, a Bachelorette alum from Michelle Young’s season was left nearly dead after a vicious attack by a group of individuals.

Bachelorette alum Will Urena broke down and got emotional while recalling getting brutally attacked in Colombia to TMZ. The former Bachelorette personality admits he could have been killed during the attack which left him with nasty injuries and a trip to the hospital.

As Bachelorette fans will recall, Will Urena was a potential suitor during Season 18 of Bachelorette (Michelle Young’s season). Sadly, Will was not on the show for very long as he was eliminated during Week 4. In the past 24 hours news broke and went viral that this alum from Michelle Young’s Season was drugged, brutally attacked, and nearly killed.

Recalling the terrifying attack, Will Urena tells TMZ he was at a bar in Medellín, Colombia with a friend. Will Urena met two women who led him to the street outside of the bar after reportedly drugging him. A group of men approached Will after he went outside and viciously attacked him. He tells TMZ he was beaten, stabbed, and spit on while slipping in and out of consciousness.

The humiliating and terrifying attack didn’t stop there. The group of men proceeded to strip the alum from Michelle Young’s Season down to his underwear. They robbed him of all of his belongings including his jewelry. He was left bloody and beaten in the road in his underwear. Fortunately, he as discovered by a taxi driver a few hours after the attack. The taxi driver helped Will Urena to the hospital.

This terrifying ordeal also resulted in a missing person’s report being filed as his local friend became concerned when he couldn’t find Will at the bar. Authorities were able to connect the dots and reconnect Will to his friend after the missing report had been filed.

Will Urena Thanks Fans For Their Support

The Season 18 Bachelorette alum took to his Instagram Stories in the past 24 hours to admit he was overwhelmed by all the love, support, and kind words following the news of the attack breaking.

Will Urena was eager to return home. Unfortunately, he had to stay in Colombia for another day as the drugs were still in his system the following day. The Bachelorette alum was grateful that he left his passport back in his room. So, he was able to fly back home on Tuesday.

Recalling the terrifying experience, he admits it is “something I could’ve never imagined.” Moreover, he is grateful to be alive as he — in that moment — he thought he was going to die.
