‘Alaskan Bush People’ Bird Brown Offers Health Update
Bird Brown spent much of last season of Alaskan Bush People struggling with a cancer scare. This played out both with a surgery that took her off her feet and the struggles as she returned to visit Alaska once again.
However, Bird said that she has an update for fans.
Bird Brown dealt with a cancer scare last season
One of the biggest stories last season on Alaskan Bush People concerned Bird Brown. However, this was unlike most stories that fans of the reality TV show expect to see on the series. In a similar heartwrenching story similar to when Ami Brown contracted cancer, Bird also had a cancer scare.
When the season started, Noah Brown was talking about going back to Alaska to find some property and a home to buy for his family. At the same time, Bird was going through a great depression as she still hadn’t recovered from her dad’s death yet. She got a note from her mom and was told not to open it until she was in Alaska, and she planned on going with Noah to visit.
However, things ended up delayed. Rain found Bird at her home and she couldn’t get up or even walk. When asked, Bird said she had felt pain for a while but didn’t tell anyone. She was scared to go to the doctor and was scared to find out if something really was wrong. Luckily, Rain forced her sister to go to the doctor.
Bird Brown had a very large cystic tumor taking up her entire abdomen. She had surgery to remove them. The doctors got them out, but there was bad news. The tumors could return later. Bird had to choose whether she would have a hysterectomy and never have a chance for children. Her other choice was not to have it and risk the cancer returning.
Bird chose not to have the surgery.
Bird Brown offering an update for her fans
There has been no word or updates for Bird Brown since the last season of Alaskan Bush People ended. However, Bird has finally offered up a small update for her fans on Instagram.
“I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be doing a health update video in a few days I have been trying to find the time but have been super busy,” Bird wrote. “But I’m going to do a update.”
While there has been no video yet, Birdie usually follows through with her promises, so keep an eye out on her account for updates coming soon. Based on her smile and positive attitude, fans are hoping to hear good news from the Alaskan Bush People star.
