Josh Seiter Shows True Colors, Amy Slaton Was An Easy Target?
Bachelorette alum Josh Seiter has shown his true colors amid Amy Slaton shutting him down and refusing to give him the time of day.
Josh Seiter has been all over the headlines this past week thanks to his pursuit of TLC personality Amy Slaton (Halterman). When news broke that she was single and reportedly exploring the online dating world, the Bachelorette alum knew he needed to shoot his shot with her. Unfortunately, Amy Slaton (Halterman) was pretty quick to shut the door on any chance at love with Josh.
As Tv Shows Ace exclusively reported first, Amy actually accused Josh of stalking in his attempt to get close to her. She bashed him as a weird clout chaser and told him to leave her alone. Moreover, Amy even took a jab at his stalking skills by pointing out that she didn’t even live in Dixon, Kentucky.
Tv Shows Ace has since had someone that grew up with Amy and Michael affirm that Josh had his facts wrong. The individual provided background information to prove they grew up with the Haltermans/Combs/Slatons before letting Tv Shows Ace know that they didn’t know who Josh drove to Dixon to see, but it wasn’t Amy.
Josh Seiter shows true colors following Amy’s rejection
Sometime after the DMs were leaked to Tv Shows Ace, Josh shared them on his Stories where they later made rounds on several outlets and via social media. Josh Seiter later took to his Instagram Stories and profile to react to the rejection. Josh told his 202K followers he was “shocked” by how rude Amy was in her response to him. He proceeded to point out that he was “just trying to do something nice” for Amy Slaton (Halterman).
Unfortunately for him, his word choice in his statement after her rejection isn’t going over well with fans of Bachelorette or 1000-Lb. Sisters. Many are in agreement Josh’s statement made it sound like he saw Amy Slaton (Halterman) as an easy target because of her size and thought he was “doing her a favor” by offering to go out with her.
Was his pursuit of Amy Slaton (Halterman) a lazy dating move on his part? Was he lying about his interest in plus-size women? Fans think that may be the case as prior to his drive to Kentucky, he took to his Stories and noted he knew Amy couldn’t resist him because she had NEVER been with a man like him. Fans couldn’t help but feel like he was claiming that she would say yes because he is muscular and attractive. And, as an overweight woman, she would be so lucky to be considered by someone of his stature.
His choice of gifts also disgusted fans
As those who watch 1000-Lb. Sisters know, Amy Slaton (Halterman) is still on her weight loss journey. It took a bit of a backseat while she had children, but she still has weight to lose. So, candy and “sodies” are not really things she should be consuming. Fans agreed this felt like the type of gift someone who fetishizes plus-size women or enables them would buy. Fans agree Amy needs a man that will support her on her weight loss journey as opposed to a man who enables her and makes it more challenging.
In 1000-Lb. Sisters fan groups on Facebook, fans admit they are having a hard time believing any of this story is true because Amy looks nothing like Josh’s past girlfriends. Some fans even feel like it was a storyline drummed up for a future season of the show.
Josh Seiter wasn’t that into her?
Shockingly, Josh Seiter has already been spotted sliding into the comments of Sister Wives star Christine Brown again. So, fans have to question how serious he was about his interest in Amy if he’s already looking for his next pursuit. Fans, however, also point out that Christine is significantly older than Josh. Moreover, she has a boyfriend. So, he’s definitely barking up the wrong tree.
Do you agree it feels as though Josh simply pursued Amy Slaton of 1000-Lb. Sisters because she thought he would be an easy target? Does he even really have an interest in plus-size women? Was he just trying to get on television again?
Between how quickly he slid into Christine’s DMs and the way he implies he was doing her a favor by showing her an interest, fans just aren’t buying he ever really wanted Amy at all.
