Katie Maloney Disses Sandoval & Raquel’s Lightning Bolt Necklaces

Katie Maloney dissed Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ matching necklaces. She still has a lot to say about their affair. During her interview on The Viall Files podcast on Tuesday, April 4, Katie admitted that their friendship was weird. Find out more about what she had to say.

Tom Sandoval & Raquel Leviss were “very close”

Katie Maloney saw signs she noticed before the “Scandoval.” She admitted that the two were close even before the cheating scandal. Katie made an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast on Tuesday. She wore a white cardigan over a black concert T-shirt and pinstripe pants.

Katie finished off her look with black Converse sneakers. During the interview, she said they were “very close” outside the group. She found it odd that they hung out together without Ariana Madix or their other cast members. However, Sandoval has always had solid friendships with other women.

“I started realizing… when Ariana [Madix] is not around, they’ll still be hanging out,” Katie Maloney told Nick Viall. “If Ariana chooses not to go to a party or an event, well Tom and Raquel will just go together.”

She shared that men and women can be “platonic friends.” However, she felt “there was something off about the situation.” Katie felt that their close friendship “reeked a bit to me.”

Yet, she let it roll off her shoulders because Sandoval has always been on good terms with some of the female cast members. He used to be close to Scheana Shay. Nowadays, that’s not the case with either Sandoval or Raquel. They quickly became outcasts.

Disses their matching lightning bolt necklaces

Vanderpump Rules fans are obsessively watching Season 10 and previous seasons. They’re looking for clues and easter eggs about Sandoval’s cheating. Fans noticed that Sandoval and Raquel would wear matching necklaces in their social media posts. Katie Maloney threw shade at the matching lightning bolt necklaces, which is also the symbol for TomTom.

“I notice things my friends are wearing, especially something all the time [and ask], ‘Is that new? What’s the significance?'” Katie Maloney explained. “A lightning bolt [is] not, like, a heart or a butterfly. It’s not like it’s cute.”

The Bravo star wished she would’ve asked them about it. No one in the cast noticed it.  That’s when she realized that things can happen under your nose that no one else sees. Katie can now look back and see that she got the “bird’s eye” view of the affair.
