‘GMA:’ Michael Strahan Still Missing, Replaced By Al Roker’s Wife
Good Morning America‘s Michael Strahan remains missing in action, but he has seemingly been replaced with Al Roker’s beautiful wife Deborah.
This week kicked off with Michael Strahan still missing from his news desk on Good Morning America. Viewers of the talk show, however, were pleasantly surprised to see a fan favorite as his replacement. Joining George Stephanopoulos, 62, Ginger Zee, 42, and Robin Roberts, 62, was none other than Al Roker’s wife Deborah Roberts, 62.
GMA: Michael Strahan Still Missing, Replaced By Al Roker’s Wife
Michael Strahan has been missing from Good Morning America for a little over a week now. His missing act kicked off on March 27th. Last week, Rebecca Jarvis filled in as a temporary replacement for the former NFL star. This week, however, viewers were pleasantly surprised to see Al Roker’s wife Deborah in the hot seat.
Deborah Roberts is a Senior National Affairs correspondent for ABC News. But, it is pretty rare for her to take a seat as a main anchor on Good Morning America. On multiple social media platforms (and Reddit), fans of GMA were positively receptive to Deborah as a replacement for Michael. Many jokingly admitted the higher-ups could permanently replace Michael with her if they wanted to.
Deborah Roberts shared several video clips and photos on her Instagram Stories a few hours ago revealing that she was awake and moving way earlier than what was normal for her because she was asked to co-host GMA this morning. Deborah was glowing with excitement and hoped viewers would tune in to watch her on the show.

Her husband left her a sweet gift
As Deborah Roberts got ready to replace missing-in-action Michael Strahan, she also shared a snapshot of a sweet gift her husband left for her. It was a card telling her that she was “radiant.”
Unfortunately, GMA fans still have no idea why Michael Strahan is missing from the show and has been missing for a week. They, however, were more than happy to enjoy his substitute today.
