‘Y&R’ Bryton James Pushes For Victoria Rowell Return?
It seems as though The Young and the Restless star Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) would love to see his television mom back on the canvas. The actor recently admitted that if there’s one The Young and the Restless alum that he would love to see return to the soap, it would be Victoria Rowell. ‘Y&R’ Bryton James Pushes For Victoria Rowell Return?
As many The Young and the Restless fans can recall, Victoria Roswell played Drucilla Winters. However, her time on the soap was anything but peaceful. She was on the show from 1990 to 2007 but had some pretty feisty feuds with her co-stars. Victoria also sued the CBS soap for “systemic racism,” per Soap Opera Network.
Victoria Roswell’s return to The Young and the Restless would certainly make things interesting, given her history with the show. But Bryton James doesn’t seem to mind that as he wants her back, regardless of what other people have to say.
In an interview with ET Online, Bryton was asked who he thinks should come back to Genoa City. While he did say that Eva Longoria and Shemar Moore are two co-stars that he misses the most, it’s Victoria Rowell who he would love to see on the set of the soap again. He said, “I want my mom to come back. That’s my number one.”
Would Victoria Rowell Even Consider Coming Back To ‘The Young and the Restless?’
Now, whether or not Victoria Rowell would actually come back to The Young and the Restless is up for debate. The actress was never given an opportunity to return after her contract was terminated. But that didn’t stop her from working in the industry. Victoria Rowell went on to create, produce, direct, and star in a soap comedy series aptly titled The Rich and the Ruthless. She’s also done a handful of holiday movies and even had a recurring role on Good Sam.
So far Victoria Rowell herself hasn’t made any comments about possibly returning to The Young and the Restless. But if she did, there’s no doubt that her return would turn into a huge ratings boost for the soap. It would also give The Young and the Restless fans another opportunity to see the Winters family together again. Not only that but Devon and Drucilla’s reunion might also turn into another possible storyline.

Absolutely bring Victoria Rowell back! Her fans want her back probably even more than Brighton James! She and only she could ever play the role of Drucilla. It’s time to leave the bad past in the past,and definitely bring Dru back! The sooner the better. If you really want the ratings to rise up again. You’ll definitely bring her back! So what she sued! She had valid reason or she wouldn’t have! in the first place. The case was eventually dropped anyway! Bring her back NOW! Lilly and Devon Both, need their mother,just like the rest of the younger cast members all have theirs. Especially now,that Neil is truly gone,and could never be back! Besides that, She’s a Winters,All sorts of great story lines could be written for her,if only the writers could write her as strong and sassy as she always was!
