‘Yellowstone’ Fans Beg Kevin Costner To Stay On Paramount Series
Once again, Kevin Costner’s portrayal of John Dutton continues to bring him accolades. This is happening amid a very difficult off-camera standoff between the Field Of Dreams star and Yellowstone creator, Taylor Sheridan.
Therefore, it is no surprise that Yellowstone fans are feeling the need to share their input, as they watch their favorite show implode.

Fans Are Pleading With Kevin Costner To Stay On Yellowstone
Last week, Kevin Costner won another prestigious award. Besides his January Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of John Dutton in Best Performance By An Actor In A Television Series, he just won the 2023 Critics Choice Super Awards. He won Best Actor in an Action Series, Limited Series, or Made-For-TV Movie.
Costner went to Instagram to thank them. He wrote, “Thank you to the @ccsuperawards for the recognition!”
However, fans were quick to put in their two cents worth. One fan wrote, “Don’t ditch us Kevin!”
Another begged, “Don’t you leave us on Yellowstone yet lol.” another agreed.
Hinting that they know the chaos happening on the set, another wrote, “No one wants you to leave Yellowstone. You fit that role. ❤️🙏,”
Another wants the filming to commence, “Congratulations!!!! Now, get back to work, we need more Yellowstone!! 🥰❤️”
A dedicated fan wrote, “CC superaward for Best Actor in an Action Series! You ARE the best actor in any genre! You and Yellowstone have been so dedicated to the series and truly deserve this award! From an equally dedicated fan!”
Lastly, another pleaded, “Please do more seasons as the show is amazing !!! I read that it will stop at 5 😢 i hope it is not true.”
Why are fans so distressed?
There Is Chaos On The Set Of Yellowstone
Although Season 5 is only halfway done, Yellowstone is currently not filming new episodes. In February, Paramount accused Kevin Costner of only being available for about a week. This was called “lies” by Costner’s lawyer Marty Singer.
Paramount has even hinted that this is the end of Yellowstone. They are even hinting that they will do another spin-off with Matthew McConaughey.
On the other hand, Costner’s point of view was that Season 5 should have completed filming in 2022. But, sources close to the award-winning actor revealed that he is unhappy with Taylor Sheridan’s many projects. He contends that scripts are not ready, and there have been filming delays because Sheridan is multi-tasking with a cornucopia of projects.
Nonetheless, Season 5 Part 2 has not been filmed. This is why fans are distressed and now pleading with Costner to stick with this series that they so love.
