‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Amanda Halterman Takes On Cruel ‘Fans’
1000-Lb Sisters cast member, Amanda Halterman has slowly become a fan favorite. She has shown so much support for Amy Halterman this season. It turns out that she has now found the motivation to lose weight like her sisters. However, Amanda has gotten some hate from so-called fans lately. She took to TikTok to clap back at them!
Amanda Haterman Means Business
Being on a reality television show about weight loss isn’t exactly the easiest thing Amanda Halterman has done. Even though she has gained a lot of fans, they can be pretty cruel on social media. Recently, The U.S. Sun shared Amanda’s TikTok where an online troll told her what was on their mind. Of course, it wasn’t kind and Amanda just knew that she couldn’t let it go. In Amanda’s video, we can see Chris Combs’ wife, Brittany, as well as Amy and Tammy. The family has jumped in to support Amy with her looming divorce. She used the hashtag “family” as she panned the room.
As soon as fans saw the video, they were quick to start in on the family. One fan wrote, “That’s one HUGE family.” Another added, “God bless that floor beam.” Yet another fan chimed in, “This family has no self-respect. This is the healthiest family in America.” There was one fan that asked why so negative. Amanda clapped back with, “Cause obviously they were never taught any better. We may be obese but at least we are trying to better ourselves physically, mentally, & spiritually.”
This Season’s Changes
On top of being a great support system to her sisters, Amanda Halterman has stood by all of her family members. With Tammy announcing that she was getting married, Amanda wasn’t sure it was her best choice. In fact, Amanda does want to get to know Tammy’s husband better, there are plenty of questions lingering there. Chris and Amy both feel that Caleb Willingham may not be the best choice for their sister. Caleb is also on a weight loss journey, but he isn’t doing as well as Tammy.
As time ticks by, Caleb still has a trach and has not met his weight loss goals yet. The worry is that he will not be able to support Tammy. He still can’t walk or breathe on his own. This has made Tammy’s family concerned. Amanda wants to give Caleb the benefit of the doubt, but he will have to show her family that he can step up to the plate for his new wife.
