‘RHOSLC’ Jen Shah Has Anxiety Attack On Her Way To Prison

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah was on her way to the Bryan Federal Prison when she said she suffered an anxiety attack. She then shared the moment with her fans before checking herself into the facility to begin her six-and-a-half-year sentence.

Here is what Jen said happened and her plans for her prison life.

Jen Shah suffers an anxiety attack on her way to prison

Jen Shah made a post on her way to prison on Thursday. According to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, she had to have Coach Shaw pull over on the way because she was having an anxiety attack. She said that she was unable to “Facetime my oldest baby.”

However, she finally connected with him and said he told her that it would be okay and she was just minutes away from surrendering to the Bryan Federal Prison.

“My worst fear and the unimaginable was about to happen,” she wrote. “Having to say goodbye to my sweet husband and precious baby Omar (he’ll always be my baby even though he’s a senior in HS).”

According to the United States Department of Justice, the courts found Jen Shah guilty of running a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. She was sentenced to 78 months in prison, a sentence handed down by United States District Judge Sidney H. Stein after she plead guilty to the charges.

“With today’s sentence, Jennifer Shah finally faces the consequences of the many years she spent targeting vulnerable, elderly victims,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said. “Shah and her co-conspirators defrauded them out of their savings and left them with nothing to show for it.”

These crimes lasted from 2012 until March 2021, when she was arrested.

Jen Shah has a detailed plan for prison stay

Jen, 39, also said that she has a plan for her prison stay. In an interview with Justin Paperny of White Collar Advice, she said she has an “18-page release plan that has 11 different sections. I have deliverables in the release plan.”

Jen said she will journal the experience in prison and she will remain “accountable for everything I told the judge in sentencing to make these victims whole.” Jen said she will spend her time in prison reading and writing and will share the first 12 books on her reading list with her fans.

Additionally, She also promises to repay “every cent” of the money stolen from her victims. She said she will work to help other women in prison with their release plans. Jen said, at the end of the day, she wants to give back and make amends for what she did.
