Bravo star to face fraud charges in 2022
In March of 2022, Jen Shah will have her day in court to face fraud charges. A year earlier, in March of 2021, she made national news with her shocking arrest.
She faces one charge of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. Jen Shah also faces one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The alleged telemarketing scheme targeted the elderly. Her assistant Stuart Smith seen on the Bravo show, was also arrested. He has since pleaded guilty in late 2021. People magazine reports that he will get sentenced the first week of March.
Jen Shah has maintained her innocence of all charges. Bravo cameras caught the tense moment when the feds were looking for her, hours before her arrest.
Was Jen Shah FIRED from RHOSLC?
Jen Shah’s near-arrest was heavily promoted for Season 2 of RHOSLC. As several of her co-stars were on a van awaiting departure for a cast trip, the feds approached, looking for Shah.
The reality star had been on the bus but mysteriously left about 15 minutes before the police showed up. Fans – and her castmates – believe someone tipped Jen Shah off about her imminent arrest.
Despite her legal woes, the Bravolebrity continued filming Season 2 and attended the reunion. Her co-star Mary Cosby skipped the reunion, leading to the possibility that she won’t return for Season 3.
However, Jen Shah’s spot on the next season was thought to be a sure thing. But now she is alluding to getting fired from the Bravo show. Why?
It is Jen Shah’s belief that she was fired for speaking out about a scandal engulfing her co-star Jennie Nguyen.
Earlier this week, social media posts made by Jennie in 2020 resurfaced. The posts were deemed racist and inappropriate. She issued an apology, but Jen Shah wasn’t having it.
Shah released a scathing statement of her own, calling out Jennie’s behavior –
“However, since my RHOSLC cast member has admitted that she made those horrible comments and posts, I must now stand up, on behalf of my husband and sons who are African American, to say that I am deeply offended by the racially insensitive posts and comments.” – Jen Shah, Instagram.
Furthermore, she wrote that Jennie’s social media posts were “infuriating.” Jen Shah also called the apology “disingenuous.”

Queens of Bravo fan account shared a social media interaction with Jen Shah. In response to an inquiry about her Season 3 return, Jen Shah shared a shocking update.
She said that she was coming back for Season 3 “until I posted tonight regarding Jennie’s anti BLM posts.”

Does that mean Bravo fired her??
The same fan account shared an update from another insider. According to the source, the network is unhappy that Jen Shah spoke out so pointedly against Jennie.

At this point, the network has yet to reveal if Jen Shah, Mary Cosby, or Jennie Nguyen will return for Season 3.

No! It means that Jen is LEAVING on her own accord. She’s standing for what she believes in. RHOSLC needs Jen.
Stop making it seem like Jen is the one getting let go. You’re perpetuating the idea of notion that you get fired for speaking on what’s right. Which is the problem – staying quiet. Change your title and get the facts.
You get fired from stealing millions from the elderly. She’s going to prison. So, Ms shah should not care too much about what is going on in Jennie’s life, when hers is clearly a mess.
Of course she should be fired….in my opinion – she scammed the elderly and is nothing more than a thief. Up next – Mary Cosby? Line ’em up – and knock em’ down. A con is a con …. no matter how well dressed they are.
