Under federal law, getting a significant early release or a reduced sentence for good behavior is a bit of a pipe dream for Todd Chrisley. As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, the disgraced reality TV star is in federal prison. Federal law requires him to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence.

Technically, this means there is an early release date option for Todd Chrisley. But, he will serve the majority of his 12-year sentence because federal law requires him to do so.

Still, Chrisley Knows Best fans can’t help but wonder: Is there an official early release date available for Todd Chrisley yet? How much is 85 percent of his sentencing and when could he get released?

Doing a bit of deep diving into public records on the reality TV star as an inmate at FPC Pensacola, fans were able to dig up the earliest release date possible for Todd Chrisley.

Earliest release date possible for Todd Chrisley revealed

Per public records, the earliest release date for good behavior for Todd Chrisley is April 7th, 2033. On Reddit, fans were in agreement it was a “wild” date to look at as it was a little over a decade from now. This means, at minimum, Todd is required to do 10 years and a few months of his 12-year sentence.

As Tv Shows Ace reported back in November, this slightly reduced sentence requires Todd to be a “model inmate.”

They are still hoping to appeal their situation

Presently, Todd and Julie Chisley have their legal team working to appeal their current situation. As fans know, Todd and Julie never plead guilty or apologized for their crimes. To date, they insist they never committed what they’ve been accused of. Per the federal judge, it is the lack of guilt that resulted in such harsh sentences.

Because Todd and Julie intended to appeal the case, however, they were unable to admit their guilt or apologize for their crimes to get a reduced sentence. Any admittance of guilt would have torpedoed their plans to appeal.

  1. that’s way too much time tomspend when some poplar ppl don’t spend any time. I’m appalled at this 10 year needsxto be served. horrible. letvum out and let them be under house arrest. NOW. makesr sick at my stomach. the little kids need them at home.

    1. That’s true!!! Al Sharpton owes over $4 million in income tax and they haven’t sent him to jail but, we all know why!!! They are making an example out of Todd and Julie, and if Todd hadn’t made Julie borrow money she’s wouldn’t be in prison!!!!!!

    2. you think these people cares no one has caring hearts anymore there are innocent people in jail right now but no one question about that they have no simple thy

  2. This is really sad my best friend was shot by another man an taken out of this world forever and all he got was 7 years an only served 3 an got out on good behavior that was for voluntary manslaughter an Todd has to serve ten years it’s very sad.

  3. and child molesters get 6 month and due cases get 5 to 10 yrs you just didn’t pay off the right people

  4. right he wanted her to go down with him he wasn’t going down by himself that’s sad cause I love their show

    1. I HOPE HE NEVER GETS OUT. PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET THAT HE CON PEOPLE OUT OF 50 MILLION IN THE REAL ESTATE FRAUD.

  5. The sentence for Todd and Julie is ridiculous. The judge that sentenced them obviously had it out for them and shouldn’t have been appointed to their case. Murderers, rapists, and pedophiles that have committed violent crimes get less time than the Crissleys got. They should be let out and ordered to work off any of their debts that are owed from whatever crimes they may have committed. Todd and Julie should not be in prison. I hope that the appeal is done fairly and the Crissleys are released.

  6. I believe that the Chrissleys don’t deserve prison life. It’s harsh.
need to be in a placethey They’re not murders or rapists, they have children that need them at home. The children.have to be tramatised, confused and still need to be supervised. Do the Chrissleys have to deal with hard core criminals? The can serve their time at home where they’re safe and not victims of a inhuman situation. Let them work they can make money and pay their debt off and be with their children and granddaughter. It’s not right to pull parents out of the home leaving the older children to care for the younger ones. The older children have a life that their missing out on and it’s not fair, and I can’t think of a better way to mess up a family.

    1. I agree, by giving them such harsh sentences the judge made his chilldren any for the crimes as well its ruined to many lives

  7. Let them be on house arrest and work from home to pay money back. That would be too much trauma for and I know it would be punishment for them. They were given TOO much time!!! It’s a huge mess.

  8. This is so ridiculous there are so many people who actually need to be in prison and have more than 3 arrests and are still walking free. Todd and Julie are truly good people they just got caught up in money. They could be at home trying to make money to settle this once and for all. I don’t know if they would be able to have the show any longer but they should people really enjoyed their show. They shouldn’t be in federal prison with killers and the like. This is unreal and the lawyers should do something now. Their family needs them.
