‘RHOC’: Heather & Terry Dubrow‘s Youngest, 12, Comes Out Trans

Terry and Heather Dubrow’s youngest child has come out as trans. The RHOC cast member made the official statement about their twelve-year-old today. What did she have to say and how did she celebrate the news? Read on for more details.
Terry & Heather Dubrow’s Youngest Child Comes Out Trans
Earlier Saturday morning, Heather Dubrow decided to celebrate International Son’s Day. By doing this, the mother of four decided it was the right time to share that her youngest child is transgender. At twelve years old, Ace is FTM but Heather made it clear that this will be their child’s story to tell when they are ready. When she returned to the RHOC for Season 16 after a several-year hiatus, Heather’s family dynamic changed a lot. Her kids were not little anymore like when she joined in Season 8. More so, her eldest daughter, Max had come out as bisexual.

A Supportive Mama
As aforementioned, Heather Dubrow has been extremely supportive of her daughters Max and Katarina when they came out. “She’s asked me trillions of questions that really show she cares. She’s asked me about my pronouns. It’s really easy to talk to her. It’s not like I have to build up courage if I have something to tell her,” Kat explained when she made the announcement she was gay. However, Ace has been questioned for some time as he has chosen to wear suits and more masculine clothing. Heather and Terry spoke out against the haters and said: “Everyone always looked at [Ace] because [Ace] dresses ‘like a boy’, which, I hate those kinds of labels. It’s clothing. Clothing should just be clothing at this point.”
It will be interesting to see if more of Ace’s story is told in the upcoming season of RHOC. Are you happy with how Heather Dubrow supported her son? Let us know in the comments below.
