Tammy Slaton’s Mom Shows True Colors: Dogs Before Daughters?
During the latest episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, fans were shocked when they saw Darlene, Tammy Slaton’s mother. Darlene has been on a few episodes of the show, but given her history with her daughters, they don’t see her often. Amy Halterman decided that she would go to visit her and tell her all about how Tammy had qualified for weight loss surgery. Amy urged her to come with her so she could support her daughter. Fans were shocked to see that she decided to show more concern for her dogs than Tammy and stay home instead.
Tammy Slaton’s Weight Loss Surgery
Tammy’s entire family was celebrating the fact that she was approved to have weight loss surgery. This was a joyous day for them all since they have almost lost her a few times because of her obesity. However, there is one family member who seemed actually to care less about it. Darlene, Amy, and Tammy’s mother showed very little happiness or concern for her daughter when Amy told her the good news. Everyone in Tammy Slaton’s family was rallying for her during the surgery and Amy actually invited Darlene to come along. Her reaction had fans screaming at their TVs!
Amy chatted with her mom about Tammy’s surgery. She felt that it would be nice for her to be there. Tammy Slaton could use her mother’s support. Darlene said, “I”m very proud of Tammy for making it this far. I couldn’t believe it. I guess I was God’s will. She got over her bull-headedness and got down to business and got the job done.” She did ask Amy to tell her when the surgery was over but told her that she did not want to go to the hospital.
Why Darlene Had To Stay Home
As soon as Amy asked Darlene to go with her, she said no. She told Amy, “I can’t go. I can’t leave my babies.” Of course, fans were shocked to learn that her babies are her dogs! Amy just knew that she could solve this problem. She made the suggestion that her friends watch the dogs overnight. She made it sound like it was a very easy fix. Darlene came back at her with another excuse though.
Amy was really trying to get Darlene to go with her to see Tammy. Darlene told her that her legs couldn’t take it. The trip would just be too long for her. Although she made it sound like this trip would be bad for her, she claimed to be upset. She told the cameras, “I’m very sad ’cause I won’t be able to make it. Hopefully, they don’t call me and say, ‘Hey, you’re daughter died.”

I think this show is.disgusting …I wonder if these 2 obese women are on welfare???? and.getting pd.from the show…are we also paying for all these family members…Every one of these.people are are so obese…wonder how many are on welfare…what is this
That is a good question although mom maybe on SSDI and get some type of assistant… I’ve watched many shows like this and hoarders …. Some ppl suffers from a mental illness so I’m just wondering if they’re going through some type of mental illness although I can use their body weight… Just about 30 lbs …
