Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Announces New DaySpring, Mahogany Movies
Hallmark Media has announced two new movies for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in April. This includes a new faith-based DaySpring movie and a new Hallmark Mahogany Spring-themed movie.
However, this is the first month this year that a Hallmark Signature Mystery has not been released.

The Blessing Bracelet Is A Faith-Based DaySpring Movie
The first of two HMM movies in April is The Blessing Bracelet, a DaySpring faith-based movie. The premiere is on Easter Sunday, April 9, at 7 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. This stars Amanda Schull and Carlo Marks.
According to ET, Easter is coming up and Dawn Spencer (Schull) is trying to make it all work out. She is a single mom with a huge financial problem. Her ex-husband left her with a lot of debt, and she has very few resources to pay this money off.
Now, she feels like sticking her head in the sand. While searching for something else, she digs out a bracelet she made years ago. Although it has been years since she stored it, she remembers making the bracelet. The four beads represent the blessings in her life that she should focus on. This reminder helps her now, as she is dealing with difficulties.
“As Dawn begins to focus on the good, her faith is renewed, and her life takes a positive turn. Thanks to the support of Dawn’s church community and the encouragement by Ben (Marks), who recently came into her life, the blessing bracelets help take her down a path she never could have imagined.”
Hallmark Mahogany Presents Spring Breakthrough
HMM is back with another Hallmark Mahogany movie, Spring Breakthrough. This will premiere on Sunday, April 30, at 7 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. This stars Keesha Sharp, Demetrius Grosse, Rhyon Nicole Brown, and Akono Dixon
Monica Rollins (Sharp) is a single mom who cannot wait for her daughter, Vivian (Brown), to come home for spring break. The mother and daughter have some time-honored traditions that they enjoy.
However, the workaholic Monica loses her job. Adding to this difficult situation, Vivian surprises her by announcing her engagement to Shawn (Dixon). Monica doesn’t even know this guy, and now her daughter is marrying him!
Now, Monica heads to The Gulf Shores for the big engagement party. On the way over, she meets Clark Randall (Grosse). It looks like she will be getting to know him better, as he is Shawn’s godfather. Now, Monica is enjoying a flirty spring fling.
Will HMM Air New Mysteries?
Unfortunately for Sleuthers, April is the first month in 2023 that there will not be a new Hallmark Signature Mystery. However, there is no need to be concerned. Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison are currently filming Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. That, along with other mysteries, is forthcoming.
