Sleuthers have been waiting for the latest news on Alison Sweeney’s latest Hallmark mystery. There has already been a report on what she is going to film. Will the Days Of Our Lives star reprise a former role or will she be starring in something new?

Alison Sweeney Confirmed She Is Working On New Mystery
Just over a week ago, Alison Sweeney fans learned that she is working on a new mystery. Speaking to TV Insider, she was asked if Sleuthers would be making any more mysteries. She responded, “Yes, you will. I can’t give away too much information, but I am working on something right now.”
Although she could not reveal any information on a new mystery, she did share that she was “so excited.”
This left Hallmark mystery fans wondering whether she would reprise her role as cookie shop owner Hannah Swensen in the mystery series of the same name. Or, if she was back as true crime podcaster Alex McPherson in Chronicles Mysteries. The third choice was something completely new.
While many surmised that she was going to star in the new The Cases Of Mystery Lane series, earlier this week, we discovered that the series will star Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell.
However, we have news on her new mystery and what role she will be playing.
Alison Sweeney Is Filming New Hannah Swensen Movie For Hallmark
Alison Sweeney is returning to her role as Hannah Swensen! According to Sleepy Kitty Paw, who wrote on Twitter, “Ali Sweeney prepping to film CARROT CAKE MURDER: A HANNAH SWENSEN MYSTERY, based on the book series by Joanne Fluke.”

This news brought a lot of excited comments. Originally, this was called the Murder She Baked series. However, there was a rebranding and now it is called Hannah Swensen. This is the name of the mystery-loving owner of The Cookie Jar Bakery.
Surprisingly, this return is unexpected as Hallmark has not made a lot of their older mystery series of late. Instead, they have been focused on making brand new mystery series.
Moreover, this movie has not yet been filmed.
Will Cameron Mathison Return To Hallmark?
Firstly, one of the number one questions people are asking is whether or not Cameron Mathison will return as Hannah’s cop fiancé Mike.
Currently, there is no information on who is acting alongside Alison. However, Mathison has been suspiciously silent on his own social media platforms. Could he be keeping a secret?
Hallmark should be releasing a press release on this soon. In addition, that should include who is returning to this Signature Mystery Series.
