The GMA3: What You Need to Know talk show teased a “big day” that happened. This week was “Wedding in a Week.” The morning show revealed that there are “surprises” to come. Fans wonder if this means the show will announce TJ Holmes and Amy Robach’s permanent replacements.

The news had nothing to do with TJ Holmes and Amy’s replacement. The show focused on wholesome couples. The talk show hosted a week-long wedding event that followed one couple from their engagement to their wedding. GMA3 teased the “big day” on its official Instagram page.

“TODAY IS THE BIG DAY! #GMA3WeddingInAWeek comes to an end as we watch Marissa and Julio walk down the aisle. Don’t miss it as we have tons of surprises in store!” the caption read.

The post shows a photo of Marissa standing in her wedding gown on the set of the show. She’s ready to marry the man of her dreams, Julio. The couple wed inside the New York City studios. Fans are happy to see some love stories end up on a positive note on the morning show.

Amy and TJ Holmes made headlines for their own romance. The couple is still married to their respective spouses. In late November 2022, the details of their alleged affair leaked. They went on an extended suspension in early December 2022 in lieu of an ongoing investigation.

ABC News President Kim Godwin confirmed what everyone was thinking. GMA moved on without the fan favorites. They ended up with a severance package after mediation with ABC. The two will have replacements after their firing and everything is set in place.

Gio Benitez has also co-hosted the show with Janai Morgan. Unfortunately, she hasn’t returned to the morning show. The pair were close contenders with Rhiannon and DeMarco. It’s hard to tell who will replace the duo who were a huge part of the show since it first premiered in 2020.
