However, on Tuesday, the fan-favorite weatherman was accompanied by someone new. He made a clever wordplay regarding the show on Twitter describing that his show has gone “off the rails.”

The official Today Show Radio 108 account posted a short clip of Al Roker with his new co-host. The NBC personality introduced his assistant, Brianna who he shared was filling in for Sheinelle Jones. He further explained that Sheinelle couldn’t make it to the show. The 68-year-old then encouraged his viewers to download SiriusXM’s app to listen to the latest episode. He also admitted that things got pretty wild and said, “Because today, it truly goes off the rails.”
Al Roker Reveals A Weird Word For The Day
Al Roker continued describing that the magic word for the day on the show was “leach” as he asked viewers to tune in and learn why it was so.

The clip from the radio show also had a video of a train traveling along the tracks in the background adding to the comic timing. Although the tweet didn’t have any comments from fans, they are happy that the weather reporter is back on the show and is in good health.
Al Roker Is Back On The Today Show In Good Health
Al Roker had a two-month-long health scare after during which his fans, friends, and close ones prayed for his well-being. He officially returned to the NBC show on January 6, 2023, and received a warm welcome from his co-hosts. Al was hospitalized twice due to blood clots in his lungs and legs. As confirmed by his doctors, the clots inside his body were reportedly set off by the host’s previous battle with COVID-19.
