This brings her total for 10 episodes to $20,000 to $30,000.

Moreover, Tammy even spoke out on social media setting the record straight regarding her financial situation. She revealed that she was broke and doesn’t get paid a lot.
Tammy Slaton Charges $50 For Personalized Cameo Videos
So, why doesn’t Tammy get paid a lot? TLC pays its cast depending on how long the show has been on. For example, shows like Little People, Big World have been around for 24 seasons. So, the network pays the cast an estimated $7,000 to $10,000 per episode.

On the other hand, 1000-Lb. Sisters has been on for just four seasons. So, Tammy Slaton doesn’t take home a lot.
However, she does have other sources of income like YouTube and Cameo. Tammy Slaton, just like her sister, has a YouTube channel with 157K subscribers that she created in 2018. She earns ad revenue from her videos on YouTube. Additionally, on Cameo, she charges $50 for each personalized video she makes for her fans.
Tammy Slaton Is Exploring A Book Deal To Earn More Money
As per reports, Tammy Slaton is also exploring more ways to earn money. She is looking to make money from a book deal where she would share with fans her side of the story and not TLC’s edited/cropped version. The reality star also wishes to raise awareness and help promote body positivity through her book.

However, before the Slaton Sisters signed a contract with TLC, they had a tough childhood and experienced several hardships growing up. The family dealt with several financial insecurities and struggled to stay afloat. Although it is unclear how Tammy and Amy made money before the show, Amy’s legally blind status earns her disability benefits.
