Scheana Shay claims Katie Maloney is lying. Katie says she has the proof. It’s been a war of words between the Vanderpump Rules stars. As fans know, Scheana is good friends with Raquel Leviss. She encouraged her bestie to date Tom Schwartz.

The two hooked up at Scheana’s wedding to Brock Davies, which will be featured on Vanderpump Rules Season 10. Katie says she made a pact with Schwartz stating they would never date within their friend group. Yet, Scheana says that Katie did allow him to date their friends when they divorced. Scheana Shay says Katie Maloney is lying

Scheana Shay claims that Katie Maloney gave her “blessing” to Schwartz by dating Raquel. She shared the details on the latest episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. The “Good As Gold” singer recalled the conversation they once shared.

“There was a conversation that happened between Katie and I… and Katie said, ‘I think they would make a good couple,’ or, ‘They might be a good match,’ something along those lines,” Scheana explained. “So, I took that and ran with it and I told Raquel, ‘Katie kind of gives you her blessing if you want to pursue that.’ And then you’ll see the rest play out.”

In the preview for Wednesday’s episode of Pump Rules, Scheana records an episode of her Scheananigans podcast episode with Raquel. They address the rumors that Raquel made out with Schwartz at Coachella, which were false. He was working at Schwartz & Sandy’s that same weekend.

Scheana asked Raquel if she likes the idea of making out with Schwartz. She moved forward with the idea of the two dating. This comes after his divorce from Katie Maloney. In the previous episode, his ex-wife shared that she was already dating after their split.

Katie Maloney shares text messages

Katie Maloney is clapping back at Scheana’s claims. She released private text messages between her and her co-star on Monday, February 20 on her Instagram Stories. In the message, Schean asked if she was “putting up a front” about Schwartz dating again.

Katie shot back: “When in public that’s a [SIC] how I present.” Scheana called her out for “lying to my face.” She brought up the conversation they had in Vegas about wanting Schwartz to “move on.” Katie said it’s “not really what I’m getting at” and she doesn’t need Scheana to “help Tom with anything.”

“Back in May… after we spoke in Vegas… I told Scheana I wasn’t down for this s***… so keep going with this diabolical nonsense,” Katie Maloney wrote in her Instagram Story.

She blamed Scheana and said she pushed Schwartz and Raquel to hook up. “After starting to lay some groundwork. Inviting Schwartz and Raquel to her birthday (not me) it was very obvious but sure too busy to check in with me,” Katie Maloney wrote.
