Tammy Slaton Clean And Sober After Rehab
1000-Lb Sisters cast member, Tammy Slaton has impressed many of her fans lately. She finally found the motivation to work on losing weight again and checked herself into a rehab facility. During her time at the facility, she made many life changes. In fact, she made two very big life changes. She ended up meeting Caleb Willingham and marrying him. Finding true love was important to her and she did it. Not only that, she is now leaving the facility after 14 months. However, she is leaving this time clean and sober.
Tammy’s New Lease On Life
From the beginning of the first season, viewers have seen Tammy at her best and her worst. Her sister, Amy Halterman has been very frustrated with her. She has a tendency to push away those who try to help her. However, things have started to change for Tammy. Many of her friends and family feel that she needed to work on her issues in life. For example, when she gained more weight, she went down fast. She started to drink again and she was smoking. During the past few seasons, fans saw her at her absolute worst.
Tammy’s partying and drinking got really out of hand. When she dated her previous boyfriends, they didn’t seem to help the situation either. Tammy has started to make a lot of better choices in her life and going to rehab was one of them. After 14 months there, she is heading home and checking out of rehab. This time, it is clean and sober!
The Rough Times
Not only has Tammy Slaton been through some horrible close calls when it comes to her life, but recently, she found out that her home was robbed. Her sisters, Amanda and Misty went over there to get some of her belongings. Tammy asked them to grab some clothing for her. When they got to her house, they noticed that pretty much everything in her home was gone. The intruders even took the bathroom sink!
Even though this was horrible news for Tammy to hear, she has had a lot of good news come to her as well. While she was fighting to hear good news, she found out that she had lost even more weight. This put her at 534 pounds. This made her qualify for weight loss surgery and made her day! When she received this good news, her sisters were there to share it with her. The smile on Tammy’s face was just what they needed to see.
Tammy has made waves when it comes to her weight loss journey. Now that she is clean and sober, it seems as if she has a clear head about what is next for her in life.
