Tensions are starting to rise on the set of 1000-Lb Best Friends. The teasers for next week’s episode reveal that Tina’s husband is tired of Meghan and Jon living in their basement. Having extra house guests has really taken a toll on their marriage. Now, Johnnie wants Tina to ask Meghan to move out.

But Tina and Meghan have been best friends for decades. Would she really kick her best friend out of her basement?

1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2 was filmed a year ago. It’s hard to say what exactly will happen in next week’s episode. However, there is evidence to suggest that Johnnie’s plan backfired a little.

Onscreen, the issues between Tina and Johnnie have gotten to the point where it seems like their marriage is in jeopardy. Between raising four children, the burst pipe in their house, and their permanent house guests, the Arnolds have a lot on their plates right now.

But it seems like nothing has changed much. Johnnie might give his wife an ultimatum in next week’s episode, but it doesn’t appear that anything will come from it. The Arnolds are still happily married and Meghan and Jon still live in their basement.

“This is our typical grocery run… Everybody participates, even me lol…” Meghan Crumpler shared on Instagram. She uploaded a video of the family carrying in groceries. “I usually help bring in some things, and then I to put things away.. As I am usually in charge of refrigerator duty and cleaning it out, organizing it, etc.. the only person that’s not in the video is Jon, because he was currently at work. 🛒”

Fans express their annoyance with the 1000-Lb Best Friends stars

Although the post was intended to be a sweet glimpse into the family’s life, fans left some pretty angry comments. Most felt that it wasn’t fair of Meghan and Jon to take up space in the Arnolds’ basement while they had four kids to feed.

“Is there a reason you still live with Tina? I feel she has such a full house already and her hubby is clearly frustrated with the situation,” one fan wrote. “Not sure why a wedding that costs money is being planned before finding a place…”

“Gurl time for you and your man to get your own place. Grow up,” another follower added.

A few fans chimed in and said that the situation clearly worked, so naysayers should just leave the family alone.

Tina claims she really enjoys having Meghan around

Onscreen, Tina and Johnnie Arnold seem really fed up with having Meghan and Jon in their basement. But in a recent interview, Tina revealed that she actually loves Meghan’s presence in the house.

In a recent interview, Tina admitted that she struggles with anxiety and depression. Having her best friend move in helped her deal with those difficult feelings. Meghan also wanted extra love and support after her bariatric surgery.

Fans might be agitated with the setup. But it seems to work for the 1000-Lb Best Friends stars.
