During her performance, she wore a head-to-toe red suit, which she paired with three different red jackets. Rihanna slyly paid tribute to the fashion icon André Leon Talley. Fans wonder why she wanted to perform at the Super Bowl while pregnant. It sounds unusual, but Rihanna loves pregnancy so much that she wanted to embrace it.

She shared her thoughts on motherhood before her halftime show. Rihanna admitted that becoming a mom made her feel like she can do anything. The “Diamonds” singer wanted to convey that in her own performance.

“When you become a mom, there is something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world,” Rihanna said, per CNN. “The Super Bowl is one of the big stages in the world, so as scary as that was – because I haven’t been on stage in seven years – there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.”

For the singer, she wanted her son to see her iconic performance one day. She also wanted other pregnant women to see themselves. While they may never perform on the big stage, they can feel like they can do anything they want as well.
