Chris Harrison, Kaitlyn Bristowe Talk, Says She Was Set Up
Chris Harrison and Kaitlyn Bristowe sat down to talk about their falling out but was Kaitlyn set up? Bristowe talked about how she and Chris weren’t vibing on her podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat. She said she texted him ten times and never heard from him. After that Kaitlyn said she saw him at Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland’s wedding and told him she missed him.
He said he’d always been there and she said that didn’t feel good because she took it like he was saying the ball was only in her court. Chris for his part said that the exchange didn’t feel awkward. He was talking to her fiance Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn was talking to someone else. They shared a hug. Chris said the ten text messages were seven in one day and a lot of them were just corrections to her typos.
Kaitlyn Bristowe And Chris Harrison Sat Down To Hash It Out
Chris had Kaitlyn Bristowe on his podcast The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever and said he felt like her podcast wasn’t a cry for help. Rather he thought it was a cry for something she lost, their friendship. According to US Weekly Chris told Kaitlyn when he said I’ve always been here he meant, “hey, you know, I’ve always been here. I’m always here for you.”
He said when Kaitlyn and Tayshia Adams got the mentorship for The Bachelorette, he didn’t have the bandwidth to talk to her. He said during that time he needed people that were, “unconditionally loving and caring.”
At the time that isn’t what Kaitlyn was doing. She was reaching out to see if he was okay with the fact she was going to be on the show with Tayshia. Now looking back Kaitlyn understands why he didn’t reach out. Back then she felt like he was ghosting her.
Why Does Chris Think The Girls Were Set Up?
Chris Harrison said he does wish he could have talked to both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia when they were negotiating. Kaitlyn believes they were given the title mentor instead of the host so they could pay them less.
She said she gained a lot of respect for Chris when she started hosting. There’s a lot the fans don’t realize about the time you put into it. Chris said they were set up. He said, “you were doomed to fail.” Chris didn’t think there was room for two mentors. Kaitlyn agreed saying it didn’t feel professional with the two of them, they were sillier. Chris thought two women hosting The Bachelorette with three total women including the lead just wouldn’t work.
What do you think about Chris’s take on the way Kaitlyn and Tayshia were set up? Do you think their falling out was just a misunderstanding? Comment with your thoughts below.
