Although the title is Love In Glacier National: A National Park Romance, did Hallmark film this movie in Montana where Glacier National Park is located? They did not. According to Fernie Fix Magazine’s Instagram post, the movie was filmed about 100 miles northwest of Glacier National Park, in Fernie, British Columbia. Additionally, they were at the Fernie Alpine Resort.

Speaking to the Survived The Shows podcast, director Christie Will Wolf revealed that this was not the most comfortable filming experience. They often filmed in -20F weather! This means that their very tight schedule required some breaks to keep the cast safe. “We are at high altitudes and very cold weather. The cast and the crew would get very, very cold.”

The multi-talented director continued to share, “The biggest challenge was making sure that everybody stayed safe and healthy while we were shooting. Every probably about 15 minutes when we were on the mountain we would have mandatory warm-ups.”

  1. Boring. Even my wife didn’t want to watch it after the first half hour. The actors are good based on their past work but the script was horrible.
