Kate Chastain Teases Series With Brandi Glanville

Kate Chastain and Brand Glanville appear in the new Peacock competition series The Traitors. The Below Deck alum and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has a lot more in common than fans may think. In fact, they had an idea for a potential show on Bravo.

The Bravo stars were getting their own series

Kate Chastain and Brand Glanville are both in the Bravo family. However, they’re no longer on the reality shows they became known for. The two became friends while filming The Traitors. Their interaction took place on social media thereafter.

The two previously interacted on Brandi’s podcast. The reality stars are quite similar in their sense of humor and witty banter. Kate Chastain teased the possibility of them getting their own reality series.

In her interview with Page Six, she admitted that she was in talks with Bravo about securing a deal. However, that fell through with her major life change. Kate recently announced that she was pregnant with her first child. The news shocked Below Deck and Bravo fans alike.

“I would be lying if I said some executives didn’t already throw that out across the table,” Kate Chastain said, per Monsters & Critics. “It was a thing, but then I had to go get pregnant.”

She would be up for the idea later. However, she would have to come up with a way to make it work. Kate joked that she wouldn’t know what to do with her baby if they ended up filming the show. She loves the idea of a “Brandi and Kate reunion with a camera involved.”

The former yachtie also tossed around the idea of a “Girls Trip” kind of show. She alluded to The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip series. Brandi is returning for another season. Since Kate is only a Bravo alum, not a Housewife, that would pose another challenge.

Kate Chastain talks about her pregnancy

Kate Chastain only shocked fans when she shared the news on her Instagram page. She hasn’t shared the details of her pregnancy. The first-time mom will give birth in May 2023. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kate shared that she knows the gender.

She’s still keeping that to herself though. The reality star also hasn’t mentioned the baby daddy. Kate Chastain only revealed that she will end up raising her newborn on her own. That’s similar to fellow mommies Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Dani Soares and Below Deck Mediterranean alum Jessica More.
