Sam Champion Gets Crazy On Set, Co-Hosts Worry For His Safety

Sam Champion got wild on the set of Good Morning America. His co-hosts feared for his safety and made the viewers worry about him as well. Keep on reading to see what happened.

Sam Champion sparks concern among GMA co-anchors

The Dancing with the Stars alum returned to the set of GMA this week. He had his co-hosts concerned about him as he went crazy. Sam showed off his much longer hairstyle, which had fans swooning lately. He filled in for Ginger Zee as she recovers from her sickness.

Sam Champion took to Instagram to post a few photos. He stood confidently in front of a GMA: Extreme Weather screen. Sam wore a black suit with black tennis sneakers, a blue tie, and a white button-up shirt. He also held his Good Morning America mug in his hand.

He spread his legs as he did his “ready” stance. In another photo, Sam rode on his scooter as he gave Lara Spencer a ride. He was on a pink scooter that was “tricked out” with tassels and a basket. Both his co-hosts Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan expressed concern about him.

Sam had too much fun. He rode around the set as Lara waved around. It looked like they were just fine. Thankfully, there were no co-hosts hurt in this wild adventure on the set of GMA.

“Last minute dash to @goodmorningamerica…my heart is happy after spending the am with great friends!! @lara.spencer @robinrobertsgma @michaelstrahan @gstephanopoulos thank you for being so wonderful @sswinkgma. (in 2nd photo Robin and Michael are saying ‘be careful’),” Sam Champion wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

Lara took to the comment section. She wrote: “The scooter has become quite an attraction here on set…..”

Robin Roberts gets shady

Sam Champion is feeling relaxed and carefree since his trip to Brazil. Robin Roberts couldn’t help but throw shade at him. In a previous broadcast, Sam tried to insert some sports analogies. He joked to Robin that he always “falls back on sports analogies.”

Robin was heard groaning off the camera. He asked her how he was doing with his sports analogies. “A little shaky,” she joked. Sam Champion still made an attempt to compare the recent snowstorm to a basketball game. She just looked at him and shook her head.

This comes after she made fun of his hair. Fans don’t have to worry about their friendship falling out. Robin and Sam always love to banter and poke fun at each other in their broadcasts. The two go back for years and remain very close.
