‘My 600-Lb Life’ Lacey Buckingham Gives Shocking Health Update
Lacey Buckingham first appeared on TLC during Season 10 of My 600-Lb Life. Many viewers vividly remember her episode, as well as the drama with her ex, Ricky.
She didn’t manage to make much progress during her episode, but she vowed to keep trying once the cameras stopped rolling. These days, she keeps her fans and followers updated through her public social media channels. As of early 2023, Lacey Buckingham is still working on her weight loss goals and has a brand new fiance whom she really loves.
Due to Lacey’s health issues, she frequently checks in with medical health professionals. And it seems like she didn’t quite get the news she wanted after a recent trip to the dentist.
Lacey Buckingham details the future of her oral health
My 600-Lb Life star Lacey Buckingham adamantly claims she is making progress with her weight loss goals. But she’s also focusing on other areas of her overall health. After a dentist visit, she learned that she would need some major work done.
“Also! I went to dentist Monday. She pulled two molars. Ouch!!” the TLC star shared with fans on her public Facebook page. “There is a secret… I am getting ready to get dentures. … I believe it’s medicine I’ve been on for years that caused all the problems. My dentist is slowly taking out what’s needed (teeth). Thank God for insurance. In March I go back for impressions for the dentures.”
Lacey’s friends and followers showered her with well-wishes and shared some denture stories of their own.
“Hope you’re ok Lacey, lots of young people have to wear dentures for many different reasons. Take care stay safe be positive 
xxx” one Facebook user wrote.
“I got my dentures when I was 31, I have 3 autoimmune diseases plus gerd so the acid reflux ruined my teeth plus being pregnant at the time didn’t help,” another added. “Don’t feel embarrassed about getting them.”

Although many fans are always happy to learn more about Lacey Buckingham and other previous cast members, many viewers are hungry for new episodes. The good news is that the wait for Season 11 is nearly over.
My 600-Lb Life will return to TLC this February, according to reports. Earlier in 2022, Dr. Now confirmed that the series would definitely return in 2023. Now, it will just be a matter of weeks until the popular TLC series is back on television screens.
