Hallmark Star Marilu Henner New ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Gig
Aurora Teagarden alum Marilu Henner is headed to NCIS: Los Angeles. This is her first major non-Hallmark role since Candace Cameron Bure’s departure from the network ended the popular franchise.
What do we know about her role on the top CBS series?
Marilu Henner Guest Starring In NCIS: Los Angeles
Hallmark star Marilu Henner has a new gig. She is going to guest star in NCIS: Los Angeles.
According to TV Insider, she is going to be a guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS show.
Henner will portray Elizabeth. She is the ex-wife of Navy Admiral Hollace Killbride (Gerald McRaney). McRaney is described as “rough-around-the-edges.”
Elizabeth is back in her ex-husband’s life with a definitive goal. She wants Killbride to reconnect with their son. The two have been estranged for years, and now Elizabeth feels it is time for them to repair their relationship.
This reunion promises to add a “dimension to the gruff character,” with several scenes between Elizabeth and Killbride.
It also promises to be a meaty story that should be elevated with such veteran talents as Henner and McRaney. Moreover, this character development could also lead to some storyline changes.
When Is The NCIS: Los Angeles Episode Premiering?

Will NCIS: Los Angeles Role Be Reoccurring?
Currently, it is not known whether this role of Elizabeth will be a reoccurring role for Marilu Henner. Once the episode airs, NCIS: Los Angeles fans may want more.
Moreover, a further deep dive into Navy Admiral Hollace Killbride is the sort of storytelling rabbit hole that the NCIS franchise loves to go into.
What Marilu Henner Said About Aurora Teagarden
When Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark for Great American Family, she left her Aurora Teagarden casemates in the lurch. They made 18 movies in the top mystery series. Moreover, it was rumored that there were an additional three scripts ready to film. This looked like a gig that would last forever.
Most of all, Marilu Henner shared with KTLA that she still enjoyed making the movies. This seemed like a franchise that would last for many more years.
However, Henner is a Hollywood veteran whose many talents have kept her relevant for decades. That includes several successful series in addition to Aurora Teagarden.
In the 70s, she starred in the successful series Taxi. In the 90s, it was Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds.
Henner was in the recent Hallmark holiday movie, A Kismet Christmas. Although she has not commented on the ending of the Hallmark mystery, fans will certainly want to tune in to NCIS: Los Angeles on Sunday, February 26, at 10 p.m., Eastern, on CBS.
