‘NCIS’ Universe Crossover Is Coming: All The Details

For the first time, CBS is airing an NCIS universe crossover event. This includes the OG, Hawai’i, and LA. What are the three episodes about, and when can you watch them?

What Is The NCIS Universe Crossover Event?

NCIS fans need to brace themselves for the biggest crossover in the history of the CBS series. The #NCISCrossover Event promises to be a triple threat “extravaganza.” Moreover, this will all air in one evening.

According to The Futon Critic, all three NCIS teams need to uncover a mysterious hitman. The binding story is that the three teams are all in Washington, D.C. to honor and celebrate a beloved professor from FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center) who influenced a few members of each team.

However, tragedy strikes when the professor is found dead of an apparent suicide. As they investigate further, they figure out that he was murdered. Moreover, a hitman was sent to murder him.

Now, several team members are also in danger. There are six-figure bounties on their heads. Some are even kidnapped. They need to work together and find this assassin before anyone else dies!

What Are The Names Of Three Crossover Episodes?

First, is the OG episode. This is called “Too Many Cooks.” In this episode, “agents from Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Hawai’i — all in D.C. to attend the retirement party of a beloved FLETC instructor — find themselves jointly investigating his shocking suicide.” Vanessa Lachey and Noah Mills from Hawai’i guest star in this episode, as well as Chris O’Donnell and LL COOL J from Los Angeles.

Next, is the Hawai’i episode called “Deep Fake.” In this episode, “Tennant, Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), and Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) find themselves captured with a woman who claims to be a CIA agent demanding intel from the team. Also, Jesse, Ernie, Whistler, and Alden Parker (Gary Cole) learn about an asset that arrived in Hawai’i who could be connected to several overseas assassinations.” Fans will see NCIS stars Gary Cole, and Brian Dietzen in this episode, as well as LA stars Chris O’Donnell and LL COOL J.

Lastly, the LA episode is entitled “Long Time Coming.” The synopsis reads, “While Agent Rountree and Fatima are searching for Kilbride, who has been MIA, they are ambushed and learn that every member of the team has a $200,000 bounty on their head via the dark web. The NCIS team must save Agent Rountree and find Kilbride while every cartel, hit man, gang, and psychopath hunts them down.” In this crossover episode,  Gary Cole and Wilmer Valderrama from the OG guest star, as well as Hawai’i stars Vanessa Lachey and Yasmine Al-Bustami.

When Is The NCIS Triple Crossover Event?

Originally, CBS was going to air this historic event on Monday, January 2. Now, they moved it back a week to January 9. Therefore, the premiere of the NCIS triple crossover episode called “Too Many Cooks” is on Monday, January 9, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on CBS. Next, “Deep Fake,” at 9 p.m., Eastern. Lastly, at 10 p.m., Eastern, is “A Long Time Coming.”

In addition, the three episodes will be available to stream on Paramount+.
