‘NCIS’ & ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Crossover Episode Release Date & Details
Who doesn’t love a good crossover? NCIS stars Wilmer Valderrama and Katrina Law posted a video to social media recently confirming a crossover episode between their program and NCIS: Hawai’i. So, fans will want to mark their calendars and get their snacks ready. Here are all the details known at this time.
Crossovers From The Past
This isn’t the first time the NCIS franchise has done a crossover episode, of course. NCIS and many of its spin-off shows, including NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, have created crossovers before. The program has even had crossovers with shows like Hawaii 5-0 and Scorpion.
There’s no wonder as to why so many programs want an NCIS crossover either. NCIS has more than 7.9 million weekly viewers tuning in on a regular basis. Some weeks, viewership is closer to 11 million. The latest crossover announcement is in hopes to bring more eyeballs to the newest NCIS installation: Hawai’i.

Tori Anderson, who stars in NCIS: Hawai’i, said having Valderrama and Law coming in for an episode was fun. Jason Antoon also weighed in on having the NCIS crew coming to Hawaii. “I know, I know it’s super exciting. Wilmer and Katrina – Torres and Knight from NCIS – solving Mondays together in an NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover event,” he said.
NCIS: Hawai’i is still in its first season, while the original series in the franchise is in its 19th season. Producers likely wrote in the crossover to bring more attention to the new series. It has already been extremely popular in its short time on air. The tenth episode of the season aired on January 3 and the show is taking a short break, returning January 17 with a new episode. That’s not when the crossover will occur though.
When Does The NCIS Crossover Episode Air?
The video that was posted to social media confirming the crossover episode showed Valderrama talking to his followers about his upcoming appearance on the spin-off. Law pops into the frame and adds that she’s joining him in Hawaii. Vanessa Lachey and Yasmine Al-Bustami can be seen in the short clip as well, seemingly excited about their upcoming arrival on the set of Hawai’i.

No plot details have been revealed at this time about the crossover episode. The only thing known at this time is that the cast and crew from NCIS will be saying Aloha! sometime soon. That and the episode will air on March 28, 2022, at the show’s regular time. So, fans can mark their calendars and have their snacks ready for a night of fantastic television.
If you are interested in tuning into the crossover episode, NCIS is aired on Monday nights at 9 p.m. EST. It is immediately followed by NCIS: Hawai’i at 10 p.m.
