Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart is cashing in on her mysterious seizures. She’s found a way to make some money while sharing about her health issues. If you follow Carlin on Instagram or keep up with her on YouTube, you may know that she’s been dealing with mysterious seizures for the past several months. She started passing out while giving birth to her second child, Zade and has had the same issues since then.
As of now, she still doesn’t have any answers or an official diagnosis. She’s on a couple of medications, which seem to be making a difference. But of course, they still want to get to the bottom of this.
Since her health issues began, Carlin Bates has been keeping fans updated via YouTube and Instagram. She and her husband Evan Stewart have included footage of her seizures in their weekly YouTube videos. They have also sat down and talked to fans about what is going on.

Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart are able to make money off of her health issues by sharing videos on YouTube. It looks like Carlin is continuing to cash in on her mysterious seizures. She and Evan will typically use clickbait titles or scary-looking thumbnails to draw fans in.
As we’ve reported, fans have criticized Evan for putting filming before his family, especially when Carlin is dealing with such scary symptoms. In the past, the couple has said that the doctors have asked for footage of her seizures. However, fans think there is a difference between recording her seizures to show her doctors and posting them on YouTube.
On Instagram this weekend, Carlin Bates cashed in on her health issues once again. She shared a video of herself as she went to an appointment with a new neurologist. The full-length video is on their YouTube channel. She included a few clips of herself and Evan Stewart in the car and at the appointment. She had to fill out a lot of paperwork and was able to get some medications to help with her headaches. Afterward, when she and Evan got in the car to go home, she said, “Feel like we got some answers with no answers.”
Evan added that it “could be a mix between migraines and epilepsy.”

Because Carlin has already shared so many health updates on social media and YouTube, it doesn’t look like she will be stopping any time soon. Many fans are concerned and want to know what’s going on, and when they watch her videos, she continues to profit off of her mysterious seizures.

My daughter has epilepsy, and Yes Doctor do Want footage of the seizures !!! Also ‘ she can NOT drive (As my daughter can’t) he had to quit his job. Totally understand why he has footage…
My daughter also has epilepsy. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to capture her tonic clinic seizures on video, only the absence seizures and myoclonic seizures. My daughter is drug resistant and is finally on a waiting list to have the VNS device inserted. They started their channel before she had issues, and I don’t see anything wrong with her sharing her journey on her channel. There needs to be more awareness on Epilepsy, and hopefully more people may start to understand and educate themselves due to her sharing her journey.
