“I don’t believe in fairytales anymore. I don’t think they exist,” Paige Thorne told The U.S. Sun. “You’ve got to love yourself, otherwise nobody else will. I’m happy being single and I’d love to go on a girl’s holiday next year.”

The reality star took to her Instagram Stories to answer questions from her fans. She shared an update on her relationship status. Don’t expect Paige to date anytime soon. One fan asked her if she wants to get back into the dating pool.

“I can 100 percent say I am not looking for love. I honestly couldn’t think of anything worse than dealing with that kind of drama,” Paige Thorne explained. “So no, not for me. At least not this year.”

Love Island UK alum quits drinking alcohol

Paige Thorne admitted that she was in a dark place at the height of their split. The Love Islander told The U.S. Sun that she quit drinking alcohol. She noticed was “struggling and did not feel in a safe place.” Paige spoke to the outlet at the movie premiere of I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

“I’ve been struggling lately, really struggling with who I am, and have not been in a good place. I’ve given up alcohol, it’s been three weeks now because I’ve realized that I don’t like the person I become when I drink,” Paige Thorne shared. “So until I’m in a safe and happy place I want to stop drinking.”
