Courtney Waldrop Updates Fans On Popsie’s Health After Surgery
Sweet Home Sextuplets star Courtney Waldrop is updating fans on her father Popsie’s health after previously sharing about his surgery. What happened to her dad, Gerry, who is best known as Popsie? And how is he doing after his surgery? Keep reading for all of the details.
What happened to Courtney Waldrop’s father?
Fans enjoy getting updates from Courtney about her parents, Gerry (known as Popsie) and Ramona (known as Granna). However, recently, fans haven’t heard too much about them lately.
As TV Shows Ace reported last week, Courtney revealed to fans that her father needed surgery. Unfortunately, he was dealing with quite a bit of back pain. This was due to “bone on bone rubbing together.”
Gerry was able to get surgery recently to correct the problem. After sharing about his surgery, Courtney asked her many Instagram followers to pray for her father to have a successful recovery. She said, “So prayers that the healing process will be quick and the back pain he has been having for so long will be gone!!”
Many fans flooded the comments section of her post with kind, encouraging words. It looks like lots of people were praying for Popsie as he recovered.

How is Popsie doing now?
For a few days, Courtney Waldrop didn’t post an update about Popsie’s health. But she finally has something to share.
On her Instagram Stories on Sunday evening, Courtney gave fans an update following her father’s surgery. The mother of nine shared two new photos of her family enjoying some quality time with Popsie. In one snap, Popsie is seated in a chair as Granna stands behind him. All nine of Courtney’s kids, Saylor, Wales, Bridge, Layke, Blu, Tag, Rawlings, Rivers, and Rayne, are standing around him. The proud grandfather is all smiles and appears to be feeling well.
While sharing the photo, Courtney Waldrop happily reported, “Popsie is home from back surgery and doing pretty good!!”
Courtney shared another photo of herself, Granna, Popsie, and the sextuplets.
So far, Courtney Waldrop hasn’t shared too many details about Popsie’s recovery. Hopefully, she will give everyone a more thorough update soon. After all, fans love him very much and are wondering how he is feeling. Continue to keep Gerry in your thoughts as he recovers.
