The reality star took to Instagram to share a lengthy post welcoming the New Year and explaining that she is cleaning out old junk from her life. Meri Brown Is Clearing Out The Old For Something New
On Saturday, the 51-year-old shared a selfie of herself with fans on Instagram wearing a grey shirt over a white camisole, teasing some cleavage. As she thanked 2022, she wrote, “A year of challenges and personal growth, a year of confusion and then clarity. A year of clearing out the old to make room for the new. A year of finding myself again and knowing who has my back.”

“A year of travel, new friends, new businesses, epic adventures, fabulous memories, and divine interventions. A year full of realizations and forward movement and setting the stage for the most amazing 2023. I’m here for it all,” she added.
Kody Doesn’t Consider Himself Married To Meri Brown
While the caption was generally about starting a new chapter with the New Year, eagle-eyed fans caught on to a specific part of the post. They thought the line clearing out the old had something to do with Kody. Throughout Season 17, although Kody has rejected the premise of getting back with Meri Brown, his narrative changed completely in the Tell-All episode.

During her conversation with the Tell-All host Sukanya Krishnan, Meri was shown footage of Kody from the latest season.
In the clip, Kody is seen claiming, “I don’t consider myself married to Meri. If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn’t get an argument with me.”
Meri Brown Seemingly Shocked At Kody’s Words
Although throughout the year, Meri has shared several posts on social media that implied that she is single, she seemed shocked at Kody’s words. She stated that Kody made a decision without really consulting her or even giving their relationship a chance.
Earlier Kody stated that he and Meri were just friends, especially after her alleged attempt to start an affair. Meri Brown’s relationship with Kody went down the drain ever since the catfishing incident came to the limelight. The former couple didn’t have any physical relationship for 10 years after the incident. Moreover, it seemed clear as day that their romance has been over for a long time.
