Katey & Jedidiah Duggar Reveal Baby’s Gender & Name
Former Counting On star Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Nakatsu, have revealed their second baby’s gender and name ahead of the holiday weekend! They will be welcoming their second child into the world next year. Of course, they and the rest of the Duggars are thrilled about their growing family. So, will they have a son or a daughter this time? Keep reading for all of the details about their new baby’s gender, name, and unique reveal.
As TV Shows Ace reported earlier this month, Katey and Jedidiah Duggar’s family is growing again! The couple’s son Truett will turn one in May 2023, and in the same month, their new little one will arrive. Jedidiah’s sister, Joy-Anna Forsyth is also due to have her baby in May.
Now, the exciting moment is officially here. Jedidiah and Katey brought fans into their gender reveal via a new YouTube video, which they released on Friday. So, is their second child a boy or a girl?

In the video, Katey and Jedidiah took fans along to the 16-week ultrasound. While they were there, they received an envelope that contained the baby’s gender. They then handed this off to Jedidiah’s brother James Duggar.
A few days later, they had a big gender reveal party outside on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s property. All of the family members cast their votes for whether the baby is a boy or a girl.
Then, they drove to another spot on the property for the big reveal. James pulled off a cool reveal. First, the family gathered around a huge fire. Originally, there was supposed to be colored smoke to announce the gender. However, James had another awesome idea, which involved a pink car driving into a pond on the property. Pink smoke and fireworks filled the air. It’s a girl!
At the end of the video, after the big reveal, the whole family went back to Jim Bob and Michelle’s home. Katey and Jedidiah Duggar announced to their relatives that they are naming their daughter Nora Kate.
